In August 2009 Vittoria V. joined a volunteer project in Nepal. It was a life changing experience and it set up the base of Human Traction. Real names of involved people have been changed for privacy and security reasons.

 

Today Human Traction is the manifestation of the energies and hard work of a group of friends whose aim is to provide underprivileged Nepali children with a stable, caring, well-rounded childhood in order to supply them with the life-skills, confidence and hope they need to build themselves a brighter future. A little work can make a huge impact in the life of a child and Human Traction aims to offer its children the chance to be children, preserving their innocence and inspiration, at the same time as making available to them all the tools required to lead fulfilling and productive lives.

Human Traction brings together and consolidates the skills, inspiration, knowledge, manpower, money and strength of many, in order to make a difference in the lives of our young friends.
