Earthquakes

 

Violent earthquakes shake the area of ancient Himalayan kingdom since the time of the Middle Ages and Nepal, as a phoenix, will rise again from its ashes.One of the symbols of this disaster, the tower Dharahara, erected the first time in 1832, collapsed in the earthquake of 1934 that even then devastated the valley of Kathmandu.

We were here in the very aftermath so we had the chance to bring a concrete help to our village delivering food, corrugated steel and tarps for the temporary shelters.

In Kavre district we delivered 75 solar kits and we are currently study long term sustainable projects to develop with local groups.
