WATER

 

Even the water supply has always been rationed. Before the earthquake, the Government was providing water twice a day for a couple of hours and, especially in cities, we have been suffering a major water crisis for many years.

 

Summer 2014

We dug a pit 30 meters high in the school garden to provide daily supply needed. Later we should have the pipes for the kitchen and bathrooms and buy some purification plants to provide drinking water to the 250 pupils of the school, and 20 children guests of the hostel and all the staff.

 

Earthquake April 25, 2015

Having not returned the power yet, two days after the earthquake the pit is not working and our panel is not sufficient to move the pump.Works will start again as soon as possible.
