Summer 2014

Last September we attended a permaculture training to learn the basic precepts of farming without pesticides.

The training was held by Everything Organic some amazing permaculture pioneers who have been working in Nepal since the ’60.

We have rent an old nepali house and a plot of land where to start an organic project.

The primary objective is to improve the diet of our children, teaching them the respect and cooperation with mother Earth, laying the foundations to an agricultural cooperative that, one day, will employ our elder kids. 

 

Earthquake April 25, 2015

Self sustainability was one of our priority also before the earthquake. The situation in Nepal will be very hard for many years ahead, this project  now is vital .

The house on the field we had rented is still standing but it has been seriously damaged, the food forest has to start from sketch.

We will make every effort to start planting new seeds of hope soon.
